What did we do on the 6th June?
So here goes I’m blogging!
We had a great first day in Banff. We did the “short” walk up the track behind Banff to get a good view of the town.
We stayed in Canmore and had an amazing view of the Rockies from our fourth floor apartment. You can’t beat waking up to that view.

Oil rig in botanical gardens
This is a an oil rig (not used any more) which pumped oil at the location that is currently in the middle of the Devonian Botanic Garden of University of Alberta.

Elk Island National Park
